This country harbours one of the world's best habitat for one horned rhino, Royal Bengal tiger, Snow-leopard, Clouded leopard, Red panda, Blue-sheep and long snouted fish eating Gharial. Other wildlife includes wild elephant, buffaloes, bisons, blue bull, brown bear, sloth bear, loepard, crocodiles and many varieties of cat, dog, deer and antelope families. And 840 different species of wet land, migratory and residential birds.
Jungle Safari
Royal Chitwan National Park and Royal Bardia National Park offers exciting and unique jungle safari activities, here include venturing deep into the jungles on elephant backs or four wheel drive to view wild animals in their natural habitat. Other activities like Canoe rides on the jungle rivers makes you witness various aquatic life, numerous Birdlife etc. Further there are nature walks, village tour excursions, cultural outings and typical Tharu stick dances depicting their lifestyles. In all a unique experience.
Jungle Activities
jungle safariBesides the relaxation and enchanting environment, jungle resort is dedicated to a lot of adventure and enjoyable activities. The main attraction is Elephant back safari conducted about one and half to two hours inside the park to view the wild lives. You may catch the glimpse of Leopard and or even a Tiger. The jungle walk escorted by our naturalist and Guides on foot through the thick bushes inside the jungle to encounter the Rhino, Spotted Deer, Samber Dear, Bear, Hug Dear, Barking Dear, Wild Boar and other animals is another thrilling attraction.

All activities are planned by experts to highlights the parks and the cultures of Tharu people to you. The activities included: Elephant back safari, Slide show, Tharu cultural show, Elephant breeding center visit or visit to elephant stable, Dugout canoe ride, village tour, bird watching, jungle drive in deep jungle (inside the park) by jeep and Devighat Darshan (Relegious tour to the ancient temple).

At night by the side of bon fire, under the canopy of stars, Nepali dishes are served by local villagers. Tharu people will introduce their dance (Tharu cultural show).

The Local Tharu people have wonderful tradition and cultural heritage. They live in mud houses of thatched roofs without windows. They take no lunch or dinner without fish. Holi (Festival of colors) is their biggest festival.
